Currently over 70 employees from 10 different nations are working at\u00a0\u00a0 AEE INTEC. Furthermore, the institute regularly awards dissertations, master theses and internships. <br \/>The activities of AEE INTEC include:<\/p><ul><li>fundamental as well as applied research<\/li><li>national and international R&amp;D projects<\/li><li>cooperation with universities, technical colleges, other research facilities and industry<\/li><\/ul><p>The three major departments of AEE INTEC are \u201cThermal Energy Technologies and Hybrid Systems\u201d, \u201cBuildings and Renovation\u201d as well as \u201cIndustrial Processes and Energy Systems\u201d.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Research Project<\/strong><\/p><p>The research project, &#8220;TechAdZero&#8221; investigates the energetic potential and explores optimized configurations of smart adaptive fa\u00e7ades for non-residential, nearly-zero-energy high-rise buildings.
