The aim of the project is the conception, optimization and demonstration of a hybrid energy supply system optimized in respect to operational material flows for a restaurant and hotel business in an exposed location.<\/p>\n\n
There is no doubt that residential buildings have a high potential with regard to the implementation of sustainability goals. Special buildings, such as hotels and tourism facilities, have a high energy saving potential on the one hand and can contribute significantly to the dissemination of plus energy buildings and innovative technologies – especially the applied demo project – on the other hand.<\/p>\n\n
At “Steirereck – Pogusch” gastronomy and hotel project, a plus-energy ensemble is going to be created by using energetic and ecological optimization measures of the existing buildings in combination with new building parts planned. It is to be shown that a nearly energy-self-sufficient, resource saving tourism project in “island location” can be realised by a comprehensive bundle of measures. The measures focus on operating energy (heating, cooling, electricity), supplemented by measures to reduce resource consumption (local food production, recycling management – composting, selection of ecological building materials) and measures to reduce mobility-related energy and CO2 consumption. <\/p>\n\n
The implemented measures concerning the hotel project “Steirereck – Pogusch” are going to be monitored and consumption data are prepared in order to optimise operation.<\/p>\n\n
Due to the high national and international recognition of the company “Steirereck – Pogusch” – many guests are important representatives from politics, administration, business and society- the research project has high potential to be disseminated to relevant stakeholders and therefore can achieve multiplier effects.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":1786,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-1787","project","type-project","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
