{"id":2285,"date":"2015-02-04T14:27:00","date_gmt":"2015-02-04T12:27:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/p688098.mittwaldserver.info\/project\/klimaaktiv-qm-heizwerke\/"},"modified":"2025-03-26T16:50:17","modified_gmt":"2025-03-26T14:50:17","slug":"klimaaktiv-qm-heizwerke","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/www.aee-intec.at\/en\/project\/klimaaktiv-qm-heizwerke\/","title":{"rendered":"klimaaktiv qm heizwerke"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>It is part of the Austrian Climate Initiative \u201cklimaaktiv\u201d launched in 2004 by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management.<br\/><br\/>The quality management system for biomass heating plants and district heating networks was developed in cooperation with the international working group QM BM District heating &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.qmholzheizwerke.at\/home.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">QM Holzheizwerke<\/a> &#8211; in 2006. In order to receive governmental investment subsidies, the application of the quality management system <a href=\"http:\/\/www.klimaaktiv.at\/erneuerbare\/effiziente_heizwerke.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">QM Heizwerke <\/a>is compulsory, if the plant size exceeds 400 kW (total nominal heat output) or the route length of the district heating network exceeds 1000 meters.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Objectives of the program:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Increase the overall efficiency of biomass district heating systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optimisation of existing plants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting plant owners during the grant application procedure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensuring the productive utilization of public funding<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>National and international dissemination of knowledge and experience in the field of thermal biomass utilisation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the export of Austrian products and services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enhancing the reputation of efficient biomass utilisation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Achievements and Future Challenges<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The detailed and structured guidelines of the quality management system concerning design, planning and construction of biomass heating plants and district heating networks in combination with strictly defined quality criteria have led to a significant improvement of Austrian biomass district heating plants and networks.
