A 2nd generation prototype has been built and tested on a laboratory scale. An important goal of the 2nd generation system development was to include all functions into a single storage container. These compact modules can then be connected with each other to form a larger system.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The goal of the subsequent Austrian national \u201cHaus der Zukunft\u201d-project (\u201cbuilding of tomorrow\u201d) is to use the results of the EU-project to build a first pilot system and install it in a low-energy single-family house. The system will be monitored for a one-year period.
