{"id":2914,"date":"2005-12-01T00:34:00","date_gmt":"2005-11-30T22:34:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/p688098.mittwaldserver.info\/project\/oekosan-modernisation-initiative-east-styria\/"},"modified":"2025-05-16T09:58:21","modified_gmt":"2025-05-16T07:58:21","slug":"oekosan-modernisation-initiative-east-styria","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/www.aee-intec.at\/en\/project\/oekosan-modernisation-initiative-east-styria\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00f6kosan \u2013 modernisation-initiative East Styria"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Despite a various number of arguments for retrofitting our building there are still only few realized projects, which show the advantages of high-quality retrofitting. <\/p>\n\n<p>Therefore the project <strong>\u00f6kosan<\/strong>\u2013modernisation-initiative East Styria was started in 2005 coordinated by AEE INTEC.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Objective:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The main objective focused on initiating showcases to encourage more responsible persons to carry out high-performance retrofitting.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Means:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Within this <strong>initiative<\/strong>, widespread service packages for builders and decision makers had been offered. The scope of the service packages ranged from a review of the existing building stock and the elaboration of detailed retrofitting studies to the monitoring and evaluation of the implemented retrofitting measures. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Awareness rising:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Simultaneously the project <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.regionalmanagement.at\/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=59&amp;Itemid=58\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00f6kosan.net<\/a><\/strong> initiated wide-spread public relations measures, know-transfer-events and information activities. The international conference <strong>\u00f6kosan\u00b409<\/strong> is originated from the start-up event <strong>\u00f6kosan\u00b405.<\/strong> Now this symposium is hosted by the AEE INTEC biannually and attracts more than 400 experts from all over the world. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Results:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The support of decision makers and responsible persons brought out results like:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>40 large-volumed buildings within the region of East Styria were investigated (approx. 90.000 m<sup>2<\/sup> gross floor area)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>18 high-performance retrofitting projects (already realised or still under construction) with 45.000 m<sup>2<\/sup> retrofitted gross floor area show :<br\/><br\/>&#8211; An average minus of 70% of energy use for heating and minus 75% CO<sub>2<\/sub>-emissions<br\/>&#8211; A reduction of 410.000 kg of CO<sub>2<\/sub> \u2013 emissions annually<br\/>&#8211; An increased quality of the indoor living quality<br\/>&#8211; A turnover from fossile fuels to renewable energy sources<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Additionally it was possible to set impulses for:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The awareness for high-quality and sustainable retrofitting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To increase the reputation of the region East Styria as a thematic leader in sustainable retrofitting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The final event and presentation of the results was arranged on 18th of Nov. 2009 in Graz. Under the title <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aee-intec.at\/index.php?seitenName=download&amp;dateienId=701\">\u201cRetrofitting offensive: economic viability and quality \u2013 a conflict?\u201d<\/a> the event focused on discussing the final results and showing further conclusions for future\u00b4s effort.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Now \u2013 after the end of the official life-span of the project \u2013 the shining examples should motivate further decision makers. Therefore the AEE INTEC designed a brochure with 16 \u00f6kosan-retrofitting-projects. It is essential to convince the persons responsible for the property management of the advantages &#8211; not only in gaining long-term affordable running-costs but also in increasing property market values and reaching enhanced indoor living quality.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":6774,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-2914","project","type-project","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
