At the same time, there is a risk that stagnating renovation activity will slow down investment in industrial prefabrication, for example for fa\u00e7ade and roof systems. <\/p>\n\n<p>Reno Tides is pursuing an innovative approach to the energy-efficient renovation of residential buildings: instead of one-off complete renovations, intelligent, step-by-step renovation programmes are being developed that can be implemented jointly by several non-profit housing developers. The modular renovation steps can be implemented as needed and are each part of a long-term net-zero renovation path to 2050. <\/p>\n\n<p>The planned renovation stages include the use of prefabricated, highly insulated fa\u00e7ade elements, prefabricated roof systems with integrated insulation and solar energy, and the gradual transition to modernised, decarbonised energy systems. This flexible structure allows renovations to be adapted to technical, economic and organisational conditions.<br\/>The international consortium is investigating the potential in three key areas: Firstly, strategic tools are being developed to support non-profit housing developers in planning and standardising their renovation programmes. Secondly, LEAN delivery kits are being created to enable construction companies to implement projects efficiently using BIM-based, industrial and serial processes.
