Buildings and clusters of buildings may deliver energy flexibility services to different energy networks. This IEA project within the EBC technology collaboration programme will increase the knowledge about these services, as well as the barriers and motivation for the involved stakeholders.
The potential of solar process heat in Egypt is immense. Multi-stage training courses for more than 70 energy experts will deal with the topics energy audits, thermal energy efficiency and solar process heat respectively.
The overall goal of the EU funded project „EUREMnext“ is to enrich the well-established EUREM European EnergyManager trainig program, making it available in new countries to allow more persons to become qualified/accredited experts or upgrade their knowledge and skills, and adding ancillary implementation support activities. Thereby contribute to increasing the quality of energy audit results, the probability of implementation of the recommendations, and ultimately the energy efficiency and competitiveness of the businesses.
Training for Industrial Applications in Ukraine and India focusing on improving energy efficiency and promoting renewable energy in the agro-food and other small and medium enterprises (SMEs)
The aim of the project is to develop a market environment for introducing energy efficiency and enhanced use of renewable energy technologies in the agro-food and other energy intensive manufacturing SMEs in Ukraine and India as a basis for promoting their competitiveness while ensuring an integrated approach for lower carbon intensity and improvement in their productivity and local environment. The training also includes a study tours.
The global radiation in West African countries is rather high namely about 2000 kWh per m² and year. Despite this fact the use of solar thermal energy technologies in Western African countries is not very developed compared to the north, east and south of Africa.
In the project SOLTRAIN 2 support is provided for partner countries in Southern Africa to migrate energy supply based on fossil resources to energy supply based on sustainable resources in general and solar thermal in particular.
- Identification of most promising markets and promotion of standardised system configurations for the market entry of small scale combined solar heating & cooling applications.
The aim of the Solar Combi+ project is to take newly commercially available small-scale sorption chillers and promote standardised Solar Combi+ systems for small applications (residential, catering, small commercial and office buildings, up to a cooling demand of 20kW).
Development of practicable energy services for the summer utilization of district heating systems with reference to existing technologies to improve the efficiency and potentialities for the integration of renewable energy.
AEE INTEC organises excursions, seminars, symposiums and workshops to all topics in our working field.
The goal of this project was to transfer the self-constructed solar thermal systems, which were practised with great success in Austria, to Italy and France.
