Projekt „HeatBoxQuality – Dezentrale Hydraulikstationen auf dem Prüfstand"

Die Wärmeversorgung von Reihenhausanlagen, Geschoßwohnbauten und Heime über „Zwei-Leiter-Netze“ in Verbindung mit dezentralen Hydraulikstationen (sogenannte Wohnungsstationen) gewann in den letzten Jahren aufgrund zahlreicher technischer Vorteile (geringste Rücklauftemperaturen, geringste Wärmeverluste, höchste Wasserhygiene, höchster Komfort, etc.) und in Folge von Markteinführungsprogrammen zunehmend an Bedeutung. Dieses Wärmeverteilsystem ist im Neubau als auch im Bestand einsetzbar, ist grundsätzlich mit jeder Energieform kombinierbar, bietet aufgrund geringster Rücklauftemperaturen aber vor allem in Verbindung mit Solarwärme, Wärmepumpen, Mikronetzen, Fernwärmeanwendungen und Gas-Brennwert optimale Rahmenbedingungen.

 

e80^3-Buildings – Renovation Concepts for Residential Buildings to Plus-Energy Buildings

Subproject 1 “Basics”

This project is a subproject of the flagship project “e80^3-Buildings – Renovation Concepts for Residential Buildings to Plus-Energy Buildings with Prefabricated Active Roof-and Façade Modules, Integrated Building Services and Grid Integration”

Goal of the subproject 1 was to select the building with the highest potential within a building-portfolio. Therefore a criteria catalogue was developed, which is generally applicable.

 

WEX-RES Renewable energy systems in Austria and their economic growth rates and export potentials

The main focus of this R&D project is an evaluation of the long-term potentials of renewable energy systems in Austria till 2020, primarily with regard to their expectable economic growth rates and export trends. In due consideration of changing economical and political boundary conditions the project aims at strategical recommendations for further future developments and R&D activities.

 

Key project: e80^3 – Buildings

“Development of high-performance retrofitting concepts focusing on plus-energy-buildings with pre-fabricated roof and facade elements, built-in building services and net integration”

The aim of the project is to promote the high-efficient retrofit of existing buildings and estates built between 1950 and 1980 in urban areas.

This project is an “Haus der Zukunft” key project.

 

Oekosan´09 – International symposium for high-quality energetic renovation of large-scale buildings

October 7 – 9, 2009 Kunsthaus Weiz

From October 7th to 9th, 2009 AEE INTEC was hosted the symposium “ökosan´09” for the .3rd time.

Now it is one of the most important conferences on sustainable building renovation within the german-speaking nations.

458 participants representing 10 nations attended the symposium. On 8th and 9th of October the expert-conference was participated by 321 experts, decision-makers and stakeholders.

 

Solar Thermal Potential in Europe

In order to provide the European Union and its Member States with substantiated information on the solar thermal contribution to the 20% renewable energy target and its long-term potential, detailed surveys were conducted using a representative sample of five European countries and the information is being extrapolated to the EU-27 countries. Both the technical and economic potential of solar thermal technologies were examined for different applications.
The study was carried out for the European Solar Thermal Industry Federation (ESTIF)

 

Compact Thermal Energy Storage: Material Development for System Integration (IEA SHC Task42 Storage-Materials)

The objective of the project of the International Energy Agency is to develop advanced materials and systems for compact storage of thermal energy. To reach this goal experts from material research and system technology in different fields of application work together: solar thermal energy, co- and tri-generation and heat pumps, air conditioning, district heating, industrial waste heat, concentrated solar power etc.

 

SOLTRAIN

Southern african solar thermal TRaining and demonstration initiative

The project SOLTRAIN is financed by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and it will be implemented by AEE - Institute for Sustainable Technologies from Austria in cooperation with project partners from South Africa (Sustainable Energy Society of Southern Africa and Stellenbosch University), Namibia (Polyetchnic of Namibia), Mozambique (Eduardo Mondlane University and N&M Logotech Lda.) and Zimbabwe (Domstic Solar Heating).

 

PEP - Promotion of European Passive Houses

Mit der Unterstützung des Projekt PEP wurde im Rahmen des klima:aktiv haus-Programms in Einklang mit den Bestrebungen auf europäischer Ebene Qualitätskriterien für das klima:aktiv haus und das klima:aktiv passivhaus erarbeitet.
Durch zahlreiche Informations- und Beratungsgespräche mit regionalen Bauträgern wurden steirische Unternehmen als klima:aktiv haus Kooperationspartner gewonnen.

IEA – ECBCS Annex 50 – Prefabricated Systems for Low Energy Renovation of Residential Buildings

The ECBCS Annex 50 aims to improve the energy retrofit performance of typical residential buildings. It is developing and demonstrating efficient renovation concepts which are largely based on optimized and prefabricated renovation modules.
