Viele der steirischen Schulgebäude wurden in den 1960ern, 1970ern und 1980ern errichtet und haben großen Modernisierungsbedarf. Außerdem erfordern neue Bildungsstandards Anpassungen bei den Gebäuden.
The aim of the project AMRE * MD is to efficiently remove and recover ammonium nitrogen which is contained in digestate of biogas plants via membrane distillation.
Besides the recovery of the resource ammonium, logistical problems will be simplified, such as storage and transportation and disposal costs will be reduced, same as the reduction of environmental damage to water and air. Moreover additional revenues are generated.
Within the project "EnPro" planning directives are elaborated to reduce barriers for an efficient and cost-effective integration of solar heat and heat pumps in industry.
Within this research project a concept for resource efficient redensification and renovation of large-scale residential buildings with standardised, prefabricated modules will be generated.
Development of methodologies and tools for the holistic analysis, design and optimization of cross-sectional energy systems considering existing (energy) infrastructures and local ressources
The global radiation in West African countries is rather high namely about 2000 kWh per m² and year. Despite this fact the use of solar thermal energy technologies in Western African countries is not very developed compared to the north, east and south of Africa.
The AEE INTEC has developed a comprehensive energy optimization concept for the Ottakringer brewery. In addition to the integration of a large solar thermal system into the existing hot water system, the heat recovery from a chiller was designed (concept development, basic engineering, funding application) and the implementation accompanied.
AEE INTEC has developed a concept for the conversion of the steam supply (based on fossil oil) to a district heating / hot water supply (provided by biomass) for the brewery Murau. Based on this implementation concept, the conversion of thermal energy was promoted and completed in May 2014. The tasks of AEE INTEC were the detailed development of the energy supply, process conversion (from steam to hot water supply), energy savings and support throughout the implementation phase (concept development, basic engineering, solicitation and assistance with the funding application).
The project aims for the development of crowd investing models for the integration of large-scale solar thermal systems into district heating plants where all technical and legal requirements are met. Together with a district heating plant operator at least one proposition is to be implemented during the duration of the project.
“klimaaktiv QM Heizwerke” is a nationwide quality management system to improve the technical quality and efficiency of biomass heating plants and district heating networks.
