energy4buildings – Integral Heating and Cooling with Focus on Electrically and Thermally Driven Heatpumps and Chillers
The further development of the solar collector test facilities at AEE INTEC provides test facilities for collector testing in the temperature range of -20°C up to 200°C. Therefore enterprises are encouraged to broaden their portfolio to new applications.
The project adresses:
- questions concerning the supply of buildings with heating and cooling energy based on electrically and thermally driven heatpumps and chillers
- consideration of systems combining heatpumps and chillers with other technologies (e.g. solar thermal) in labarotary scale and conceptioning as well as in system level including the consideration of users, loadmanagement and weather.
development of control strategies with consideration of users and weather - development of intelligent sensor networks with direct interface to simulation software and control electronics
- know-how acquirement in the forementioned fields
The synergies between AEE INTEC and FH Burgenland therefore provide an attractive research environment for enterprises in the field of buildings technology and solar thermal.
