SolSorpDry: Development of a mobile and fossil-free sorption drying plant
In the project SolSorpDry, the development of a mobile and fossil-free sorption drying plant is being promoted together with the partner BEST (Bioenergy and Sustainable Technologies GmbH).
IEA SHC Task 69 Solar Hot Water for 2030
IEA SHC Task 69 of the International Energy Agency aims to make solar water heating technologies more cost-effective, efficient, and reliable.
Reallabor Gebäude – Building as Living Lab for climate neutral, demand-driven and affordable accommodations
The ÖWG – Wohnbau Genossenschaft wants to renovate its buildings – for this purpose, strategies are being developed on a pilot basis for an existing property, processes are being applied and a climate-neutral renovation concept is being developed as the basis for subsequent implementation.
BM Retrofit – Development and demonstration of holistic retrofitting concepts for biomassbased district heating networks
BM Retrofit is dedicated to the development and demonstration of holistic retrofitting and modernization concepts as well as portfolio expansion of biomass-based district heating networks and systems.
buildingTwin – Open platform for monitoring, evaluation and optimization of building operation
The goal of the research project is the development of a BIM-based building operations platform to provide building owners and operators with better insight into the real-time building performance during the entire life cycle of the building.
KIS 2.0 Graz – Climate Information System 2.0 Graz
The existing urban climate analysis of the city of Graz is turning into KIS 2.0 – the climate information system, which is fed with data by the drone-based urban climate analysis of AEE INTEC (SmartCity Sensing method) and thus supports visionary conceptions and planning.
Green Energy Lab: S/E/P II – Spatial Energy Planning for Energy Transition
Since 2019, the GEL S/E/P project series aims at developing the foundations for spatial energy planning. The goal is to provide a digital energy atlas for the provinces of Salzburg, Styria and Vienna, which includes high-resolution spatial information layers and reporting functions for the characterization, analysis and planning of municipal energy systems. In addition, automated reports are provided for use cases in administration and local planning and legal framework conditions are addressed in dialog with authorities and politics.
ABM4EnergyTransition – Agent-based simulation of energy transition pathways in urban environments
The goal of the project ‘ABM4EnergyTransition’ is the development and demonstration of a novel simulation approach based on agent-based modeling (ABM) for the spatial analysis of transformation pathways for the urban heat and energy transition.
ACR GIS-bEPS – Development of distributed GIS-based Spatial Energy Planning Services
The project deals with the development of an open-source based GIS infrastructure for the deployment of online map services, online data analysis services and related digital services of the three ACR research institutes AEE INTEC, GET and IBS.
SKE Kapfenberg (Modul 2) – Master plan for the expansion and decarbonization of the district heating supply in the municipality of Kapfenberg
Objective of the project is to conduct feasibility analyses and heat network planning for the expansion and decarbonization of the district heating supply in the municipality of Kapfenberg.
The findings are to be taken into account both with regard to the strategic district heating planning of the local energy service provider and the municipal heat planning authority of Kapfenberg.
