Through the structured collection and processing of findings from past renovation projects in Europe, the potential of industrial refurbishment will be highlighted. The results will then be made accessible to the user and owner respectively in an attractive and comprehensible way via an online platform in order to speed up renovation with regard to the European building stock.

Digitaler Zwilling – Digital Twin / Building Tracker – Coupling of building simulation with physical buildings in real time

In the Digital Twin project, a real-time building simulation based on the simulation tool IDA ICE was developed and tested in the laboratory and in a real building.

SOLTRAIN+ Southern African Renewable Heating and Cooling Training and Demonstration Initiative

Since 2009, AEE INTEC has implemented the project SOLTRAIN, a solar thermal training and demonstration initiative in Southern Africa. Within the project Soltrain+ the focus of the trainings and demo projects is expanded in terms of energy efficiency and energy audits, hybrid technology systems with the integration of heat pumps as well as the extension of the application areas to industry and commerce.
