On July 18, 2023, AEE INTEC was pleased to welcome seven experts from Takasago Thermal Engineering to Gleisdorf. Takasago Thermal Engineering is a traditional HVAC company founded in 1923, initially specializing in cooling and ventilation systems. Building on this expertise, technical concepts for clean rooms, conditioning of industrial manufacturing environments and thermal energy supply were developed and included in the company’s product portfolio. Now, the central topic of energy efficiency solutions also includes the aspect of sustainability. Takasago Thermal Engineering sees itself as an “environmental creator”. In the frame of the visit, AEE INTEC was able to present results from ongoing or recently completed research projects. The stay was complemented with an excursion to the wastewater treatment plant of Gleisdorf, where a heat pump has been installed during the Thermaflex lead project which directly feeds into the local district heating network.
