The Innovation Camp “Digital Energy Management in the Food Industry” offered companies in the food production industry the opportunity to exchange information on current requirements of their technical plants within the framework of the workshops. The close connection to research institutions, such as FH Burgenland and AEE INTEC, both of which have built up great expertise in the energy management of food production plants for many years, accompanied the successful knowledge development of the company partners. The participants of the qualification camp got the tools to initiate first innovative processes in energy management in their companies and to implement them. The network around FH Burgenland, AEE INTEC, the participating company partners and the Ecoplus Lebensmittel Cluster Niederösterreich provided optimal support for the development of knowledge and the subsequent use of the acquired knowledge.
