Evaluation of Large-Scale Solar Collector Plants

Hundred and twenty plants of several Austrian countries were evaluated. Twelve efficiency categories were defined and the plants were assessed similar to the energy pass of buildings. For this purpose evaluation tools were developed and applied. A brochure was published giving recommendations for planning, installation and operational management in order to reach enhanced quality management for future plants. Moreover workshops were held to disseminate the project results.
