Fernwärme-Ausbau Leibnitz Tillmitsch

The project deals with the expansion and optimization of district heating supply in the greater Leibnitz area, particularly in the municipality of Tillmitsch. The starting point is an expansion of the district heating infrastructure that has been ongoing since 2015, which has significantly increased the length of the network and the heat demand. This study focuses on the further development of new areas and the redensification of existing supply zones.

A key aspect is the recording and analysis of expansion potential, which serves as a basis for investment decisions. The study examines how existing and new generation capacities can be integrated to meet future demand. This includes thermohydraulic network analyses and the examination of the technical, economic, and ecological feasibility of new plants.
Expected results include the definition of expansion scenarios, a detailed analysis of demand and the generation portfolio, and an implementation roadmap that ensures a sustainable and efficient energy supply.
