Smart Mainstreaming – Demonstration of the multiplicability of participative processes in standard residential construction

Through the early, active involvement of relevant actors, such as future residents, community members and neighbours from Eggersdorf, attractive design spaces are created even before construction begins. By networking all interested parties and creating a common vision for living in the community, it is possible to achieve added value for all those involved through affordability, sustainability and resource saving.

At the end of this design and planning process, a comprehensive project is created that can be multiplied for future sustainable and innovative construction projects in standard housing.
