Until the end of March, the project team of the Green.Diversity.Linz project is developing a set of measures for a sustainable new city district at the site of the former postal distribution center next to the Linz train station. An interdisciplinary team of developers, architects, greening and biodiversity experts, landscape planners, and AEE INTEC as a research partner for sustainable technologies took an in-depth look at how biodiversity promotion, principles of Animal Aided Design, building greening, rainwater management, on-site renewable energy production, and energy optimization processes can work together synergistically and creatively in a new urban quarter.
AEE INTEC is pleased to present the results of the energy research together with the concepts for biodiversity promotion, building greening and climate change-adapted stormwater management developed by the project team on March 29, 2023 at the international BauZ! – Congress for sustainable buildings in Vienna.
